Seven seasons with the 1470 and yeah, it mostly does what it should. The cutting header at 5 meters is just right for me, doesn’t feel too wide or narrow. Had a bit of trouble with some broken parts, but to be fair, that was kinda human error, not a machine flaw. Wish JD had put better mounts on some spots, though-those brackets get loose if you don’t keep an eye out. The computer does more than I use, mostly ignored it, but all the key things like RPMs and temps are plain to read. If you care about upgrades and tech, it’s kinda basic, but at least it doesn’t break down much. Cab could use a better seat, my back feels it at the end of the day. All in, not bad, just keep an eye on your hardware and you’ll be fine.

Used the JD 1470 extensively. It delivers solid control and operation; the handling is intuitive and responsive, which is crucial for precise tasks. Maintenance wasn’t too demanding, though some parts could be more accessible. Pricing is decent for the performance it offers. Overall, a robust piece of machinery.

So, about the John Deere 1470: I’ve operated it quite a bit over the seasons. It’s dependable, but you notice areas for improvement over time, such as the need for frequent component checks and replacements like sieves and chains. The grain tank size seems small for extensive use, but its efficiency balances out. Overall, a good piece for certain scales of work but might lack scalability for larger demands.

Had a chance to work with the John Deere 1470. It's straightforward to operate, especially with its clear controls. While it doesn't break down often, parts maintenance can be time-consuming. Overall, a well-rounded machine for medium-scale fields.

Well, I’ve spent quite some time working with the John Deere 1470, and here’s my take. The harvester is functional and generally reliable, even after several years in rough conditions. The capacity of the grain tank and overall productivity might feel limiting if handling larger fields. Maintenance isn’t too intense, but some aspects like worn bearings and cylinder issues require periodic attention. While it’s not the most feature-packed, it delivers solid performance for what it’s designed to handle.

I’ve driven many harvesters, and the 1470 holds up. Not bad on fuel consumption for its job. Comfort-wise, the seat could use more padding for longer shifts. However, it's reliable and hasn’t left me stranded yet, which I value greatly.

So, I had the chance to use the John Deere 1470 for a few weeks on some projects. It’s pretty well-built and operates smoothly. The reliability was up to expectations, never encountered unexpected downtimes. However, I found the comfort level in prolonged use a bit lacking; could use some ergonomic updates. Anyway, it gets the job done efficiently, which matters the most.

Just recently used the John Deere 1470, and there are some things to point out. The hydraulic system's reliability impressed me, handling well under various conditions. However, I did notice slightly increased fuel consumption compared to my expectations. Maintenance accessibility seems standard but could be more streamlined. Overall, it fulfills most operational needs without significant drawbacks.
