Been running a Heliodor 9/700 for a while now, using it mainly after harvest for stubble work and before seeding in spring. What stands out for me is how much fuel it saves-my 350 hp Claas pulls it at good speed and I'm covering more ground per shift than I did with my old setup. Handles residue fine, even on wet soils where most other gear just gums up or starts dragging. The discs have a good design, so mud doesn’t stick much. The finish is way smoother too, not a lot of lumps left after a single pass. Ran about 24,000 ha so far and apart from changing some roller bearings (covered by warranty), haven’t had any real downtime. It’ll break up big clods after ploughing but the small discs do wear down with time, so watch out if you’re hitting a lot of stones. Not cheap to buy, but at least you’re not spending much on diesel or repairs.
